Default Ucf20 ride height

Searched and didn't discover anything. I have a 99 with 96k on it. Shocks have Kyb stickers on them and don't appear to be blown at all, so idk if they are factory or replacements I haven't measured yet but unladen and with very little gas in the tank the gap between the tire and fender in the rear is decidedly smaller than in the front. It makes for an unbalanced feeling car and a stance that doesn't look good. Alignment seems good even though I need new strut rod bushings. so my q is does any one have factory specs for the fender gap on a ucf20/ what might be causing this.

I believe you can find the specs in the owners manual that you keep in the glove compartment.

I have measurements of mine before lowering...will dig through some of the records and post. The front gap is about 2-1/2" to 3" and rear is 1-3/4 to 2-1/4" roughly. Yes, it will be uneven from side to side. I posted the measurements in a thread somewhere here but I cannot easily find it since this was back in '04'ish.

So you're saying the front gap should be a bit wider then. Don't know why I was under the opposite impression. Thx for the input

the bounce test is a better indicator of if your shocks have blown. the OEMs have KYB etched into them iirc so that's not a good indicator.

i have done the bounce test and they feel like brand new. they have stickers on them not etchings. im just worried they installed the rear shocks on the front and the fronts on the rear.

Extremely unlikely but you can alwayscheck the part numbers on the stickers to confirm.

I highly doubt that they were installed incorrectly but anything is possible. I have literally no gap in the back and a small gap in the front with new KYB GR2s and Eibach lowering springs.
