Default REAR Stabilizer Bar Link - OEM or Other

I am not sure how the non-OEM REAR Stabilizer Bar Link would affect the drive....

I've looked into getting OEM Stabilizer Bar Link (part# 48830-50020) and they are about $75 each ($150 for 2).

From Rockauto, the price of the link varies from $10 to $25.

I prefer using OEM parts for suspension parts but this Bar Link, I am not so sure.....

I've just replaced Rear Stabilizer Bar Bushing with the OEM rubber one and have almost gotten rid of CLUNK sound going over a bump in slow speed. While replacing the Bushing, I've learned that the Stabilizer Bar Link has lot of play.

Anyone with same experience? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

for aftermarket suspension components i'm partial to either MOOG or Raybesto's Professional Grade (not service grade). Have been running both on multiple cars without issue.

My passenger side link is toast and making the awful clankety clank noise over ALL bumps. I'm going to purchase an aftermarket one when I get around to changing it out.

are you talking about the FRONT or REAR?? 48830 is the rear, 48810 & 48820 are the fronts.

Thanks for the input. You are referring to rear stabilizer bar link, right? I will take advise and order one of two brand. How is the aftermarket link affecting the ride on both LS'es?

It is REAR, for the first gen LS.
I am wondering how the aftermarket stabilizer bar link would affect the ride.

the '99 is heavily modified so not sure of the effect on ride quality.

the '00 however has seen no detriment to ride quality thus far.
