Default Thinking of selling - Should I or nah? how much?

So guys.. its been a long run with the lexus gang. But its time for another sports car in my life and zo6's and e92 m3's have fallen in the low 40k range with low miles. I won't have garage space so the LS may have to go. I don't really have to sell her, but Id hate to force her outside to park. Browsing the CL Cars for Sale section Ive come to the conclusion that 13k will be the fairest price for my car. It has 115k on her and is immaculate inside and out.

Sooooo... should I sell her??? Do you guys agree on the price. Im sure I could sell her for much less (10k) with Rep wheels as I can make a phone call and get a set asap.

2000 LS400
115k
Megan Coils, UAS Bags, Accuair EXO mount system, Airlift V2

So, first off, as much as I like the LS, you cannot compare it to a Z06...different leagues. Second, you have slammed your LS and with other mods, you have limited the market. I know you like it and it is kinda cool but...it does now have a limited market for buyers. Take that into account.

Life is short. If you would like another vehicle then go for it. But keep in mind that you may have to take a hit on your current LS. You will have to find a like-minded person to pay $13k for your vehicle, which in stock condition, would be worth maybe $8k. Sorry, just being realistic.

I agree with randal. It might sound like a fair price, but It would take someone with the same taste as you to buy your car for the money you're asking (or even buy it at all) Unfortunately, It's the price we pay for modifications.

You do have a gem though, so good luck with whatever decision you make!

Ha Ha I was never comparing it to a zo6. Im buying one to build as a track car and to race in Shift S3Ctor. I would never compare a 4 door older VIP sedan to a true sports car. And I priced it as far as market value on the CL Vehicle classifieds. Its not officially for sale yet how ever. Its just a thought, I don't need to sell it by any means. Id just hate to let it sit outside collecting dust lol

I don't know what's up with CL these days bcuz I responded to your post literally as soon as you started the thread. Seems like more posts are going missing lately. Anyway basically said what the other members are saying. It's high IMO but a very nice car.

Yea it seems weird. I don't post here to often due to those issues. Plus the LS section is usually dead or just maintenance questions over and over.

Unless you get lucky and find just the right buyer, financially speaking you're likely better off parting it out.

You never make back money on modded cars like this :<.

Very true. SEMA will be its last show ( for a rep wheel company LOL) and then I think Im going to post it up in the classifieds to see what hits I get. But I really should wait until after Feb 1st for the tax return kiddos LOL. I knew I should have bought the house with the 3 car garage LOL. I have a 6 car driveway, but I just can't imagine keeping her outside after she has been garaged for years.
