So I just recently got my 95' LS 400, and it has been a great smooth car. But just a few days ago my car started acting up. It seems that whenever I press on the gas or let off the throttle suddenly I hear a loud thump that sounds like it's coming from the rear wheels. That usually happens when the engine is cold, but even when the engine is warm and I start accelerating faster or going hard in the car it starts again. Is this a transmission problem?

Replace the transmission mount and give us an update... it is cheap and easy to do.. ..

Universal problem in the early model year 95's. There's a funky problem with the ECU. Had the same issue myself, turned out to be this:
