Hello club!
I haven't posted in a while because my soon-to-be 20 year old 95 LS400 has been super reliable. Everything still works.... except for my driver side low beam. I bought a replacement bulb (9005). I put it in but still no dice. I checked the fuses, they are all still good (i swapped em around w/ spares), and the relay is still good because all other lights work.
Any ideas?
How can i check if the wire is getting power?
A common cheapie test light from walmart or somewhere will allow you to check the bulb socket for power.
One end of it has a wire with a clamp that just hooks onto the body of the car, or the negative battery terminal. The other end has a pokey thing that you can poke into the exposed socket, and if it lights up, you have power
thanks for your input everyone!
Yoshiman, good idea with with tester! I forgot about those.
Yamae, I assumed the relay was good because all the other lights work. Passenger low beam, and both high beams all functional.

I swapped the relay with the defog relay (same part number and color) and same issue w/ driver low beam. I don't think its the relay.
Hopefully its not a wiring issue. I'll get a tester soon and let you guys know.
