Centor exhaust piece IS a cat!

I was doing more reading in my owners manual and it is printed in the catalytic converter section that there are 3 cats!

The 2 after the manifold, and the centor piece most people guessed was a resonator. Now we know for sure.

yuck! 3 cats! Remove all those and see how much hp you gain

Or at least gut them

Lee, on California cars the center section is a cat. On all other cars it is a resonator. The pictures you posted of your exhaust show it yours to be a resonator.
