Recently I have done 3 tranny drain and fills with t IV fluid. Total of 6 quarts exchanged. Now every other time I go to park my car ( going prom D to P) the lever gets stuck on N. So I have to move it back slightly l, not back into D but halfway out of N and then into P. Weirdest thing. I'm about to sell my car and I'd hate for this to freak out a potential buyer. I'm grateful for any thoughts on this

linkage issues? didn't do it before u worked on it does it now..crawl under the car to see if its binding..have someone else work the shifter while ur under there

Did they take the pan off or just a fluid exchange

just fluid exchange, very simple just 2 quarts.
also it only happens with the engine running.
if i do try it while the car is simply ON it shifts fine every time

I have same issue on 95 ls400.
I checked brake switch & it's fine.
No brake lights out.
Lever does not get stuck in park.
Lever only get stuck in N from D to park.
Please help!
Yes i have been using the over ride lock switch in the upper left hand side.
I need a perm fix.
