Question JDM Upper intake man. has fuel line ?!!?!?!?!?!? PLZ VIEW PICTURES

The part is believed to have come from a Celsior. (The motor had TRAC ... my car does not .) if that is relevant

I need to know 1) what the part is? Part number is awesome

2)what the use /benefit of the of fuel being feed directly into the Upper intake?

3)Should / Can I just block off the Fuel line , leaving it useless.

As you can see in the picture right above here fuel is being fed DIRECTLY into the upper intake manifold. WHY IS THAT?

Is there a plate that I can buy that will just block off the area where the fuel line penetrates the intake?

LINKS.

That is a cold start injector and just adds more fuel when first started on a cold engine.

I'm assuming this is probably a UCF1x?

If you want to cap it off, a bolt of the same thread pitch and a copper crush washer will take care of plugging the hole. Just don't be an idiot and put in a bolt so long it impedes flow in the rail.
Measure the length of the stock banjo-bolt, and subtract the thickness of the banjo and **ONE** crush washer to get the length of the bolt you need to find.

Oh, and you can do the same on the injector side, it would be easier/faster then trying to seal the hole for the injector.

Exclamation more mysterious parts

I also noticed the water pump had a high pressure outlet and sensor/ motor if some sort....

my ecu will** NOT** support this either

I THINK this is associated to the TRAC but I could be wrong . the extra part reads "VALVE HYDROLIC MOTOR CONTROL"

part # 16929-50010

In the first picture you can see the outlet

In the second I have blocked the outlet of because my car will not support what ever that is. (good idea?)

this is why you're supposed to swap in your OEM USDM intake/harness parts when swapping in a jdm motor...

you're supposed to use just the jdm longblock, not nay of the electronics or etc...

I plan on using the oem usdm harness, but the intake it's just plain filthy, so i would like to run the jdm which looks closer to new.

My plan is to just block fuel outlet along with the banjo.

Either buy a new egr system or just us my old one

I believe you are going to save your self a big headache if you just clean up and paint the usdm parts. These things are works of art. No need to reengineer it.

Swap everything from the USDM engine that is different over to the new(er) JDM engine and call it a day. Spend a little extra time and clean up the USDM IM and plenum and avoid the headache.

don't mickey mouse the jdm intake. hot tank the oem usdm intake (minus all electrical) and be done with it.
or be cheap and get some brake cleaner, brush, and silver paint.

This^. Take the usdm intake to a local machine shop. I would think they would charge you next to nothing to throw it in a caustic bath and rinse it for you.
