Default Antenna hole diameter?

So my antenna mast has been broken since I bought my '93 LS, I swiped a solid antenna off a Grand Am that was headed for scrap, with it plugged in and just laying in the trunk my reception is great. So now I want to remove my factory antenna and plug the hold with a black rubber plug/grommet.......does anyone know the diameter of the hole?

No idea about the ucf10, but I just shaved mine due to an inoperative retractable mast and the fact that I never listen to the radio... Does wonders for the looks of the car.

The plug will be oblong a bit, as on my car the hole was over the curve of the fender.

Thanks, this is a beater so I'm not looking to spend a lot ln this, I'll probably leave it there but thought a plug would look better.

Ya, but it needs to last through the winter, plus auto car washes, etc.....I don't think vinyl is strong enough, thanks though.

duct tape aka 100mph tape? haha but a small scrap piece of aluminum or even a soda can portion can cover that hole. beater = quick, effective but not necessarily pretty fix!

Ya, something like that would work, but I'd just leave the busted antenna how it is, it looks better than duct tape, I just don't like it. I'll just pull it out and measure the hole.
Thanks for the help.

Search up ls400 antenna hole plug. I found a fix for it and started a thread a while back. I don't know how to post the link to the thread here. Lol

Thanks, found the thread, but what I want to do is totally remove the antenna assembly. I'm going to take it right out and want to plug the hole in the body, I have another antenna connected right now and it works great sitting in the trunk.
I'm planning to take out the assy this weekend and try to find a plug for it once I measure the hole.

The hole is close to 7/8" or 22mm. I went to my local hardware/auto parts store and they had nothing, so I tried the grommet from the '01 Grand Am donor car and it fit perfect! I stuck the antenna in there but left the whip off so not its at least sealed from water.
Btw, anyone using the factory antenna should be aware that the antenna base is not a grommet at all, but a piece of plastic with a rubber seal on the bottom. In my case the seal was totally flat and there was rust inside the hole (otherwise rust-free car). So if you still have the OE part-you may want to check the inside of the quarter panel for rust or signs of water leaks.
