Lightbulb Styling, and general synopsis of my LS. Id appreciate reads and replys from everyone

https://www.clublexus.com/gallery/sh...php?photo=9342

I was hoping I could get in touch with some people who
know about items for styling on 90-94 LS400s.

I am currently searching for Grilles for my LS;also, a wings west kit
that totals out, with shipping, under 850.

Im also wondering if anyone here knows inexpensive places where I could get ahold of 1156 and 1157 LED lights,
and if anyone here knows the series of bulb used in the front
clear corner lights.

My car is a 90 LS400, it was origionally the metalic light blue/dark blue two-tone. After having some repairs done, through luck, the dark blue portion of the body was matched to the light blue, making the whole car the light blue. It has ADR Skye-7 18" by 8.5" rims, with low profile tires... (Hankook, hehe they came with the rims... why complain?) It has clear corner lights, and I have totally clear tail lights which im going to be personally changing into JDM style. I want to get ahold of LEDs to make the tails and clear corners look even better, and be even brighter.
My car was bought last year at 44k miles, it now has 53k miles.

Ive got my eye on the Wings West body kit, from MachIII.net
they ship it free, ending total at 850.

I enjoy being the only LS400 around town with 5% all around tint, 18 inch rims (big for around here, bumpy roads) and clean looking paint. Its nice to be unique around here...

Im looking at many things for my car right now, few of which will ever happen, as im a college student.

- Wings West 4 piece body kit

- 1" drop Pro-Kit by Eibach

- Aftermarket front Grille

- Bradi Rotors, or the brakes off of a 93-94 LS400

- Exhaust, (ill likely have to use a local shop to do a universal exhaust)

- Strut replacement (likely, tokico blues.)

- Toms Brakes

- (have a CD changer, and Alpine 8063 alarm, which i just need to insall)

- Intake, Injen, (can anyone explain what i would have to do to make an intake for a 92-94 work on my car?)

- I have 2 MTX blue thunder legend 10" subs, but im thinking about getting ahold of .. hehe i know its kinda nasty sounding... 2 Cerwin Vega 15" 600 watt RMS speakers... not to show off, but for personal enjoyment... i know it contradicts 15" speakers for personal enjoyment, but I listen to songs at a low volume, and I like the low rumble, but my 10"s just cant produce it.

Id love to trade pictures with anyone, but i dont know how to post em, and I dont have anywhere i know of to put them online, to make links to them.

hmm why dont you go with some JDM kits from Japan.

Your car in the JDM market will be Celsior UCF10/11

hmm looks like the admiration site was just updated too.

there was just some, but the list goes on and on

Welcome to the club rhabryn, glad to see another person interested in fixing up his LS.

Question

You mention upgrading brakes to 93 or later.

Do you know what's involved with that? I.e. is it just rotors and calipers?

I know you need new wheels, but no one here has ever definitively answered on what's needed other than bigger wheels.

Anyone done this upgrade?

Thanks for the info guys.

I actually got around to ordering ProKit springs, along with
the paint and LED tail light bulbs for my car...

Ive been researching my car quite a bit,
I really think that the undercar twin turbo setup has to be
the coolest thing ive ever heard of on an LS in the US.

I know there are shops out of the country that do all kinds
of things.. im sure most of you have seen the site with the
5.0 litre engine swap, twin turbo, etc...
Id love to export my car, have it done, import it back, but
then i would have to take it all back off for customs hehe
and besides that, im a broke college student

anyway... Id love to hear from anyone who does a little
wholesale im mostly interested in the Wings West bodykit
for my car, i like it the best, and i feel it is the cleanest...
I cant for the life of me find it for less then 850 total (shipping and all). Anyway, talk to you all soon

Ordered Tokico blues... I cant wait to get all this stuff on.
Unfortunately, The entrance to my work, is a dip then sloped parkinglot entrance.
there is only one entrance, I just hope that my car dosnt scrape, and if it dosnt, then i hope that it dosnt when i get ahold of a wings west kit...
Im mostly interested in looks and just running well, but man o man, I half wana go eight grand into debt and have lextreme hook me up with a full turbo kit.

My car, customized, around my city of Springfield Missouri, is absolutly rare.
I have only seen one other LS in town (it was 95+) that even had rims on it.
I love being one of the few in town now, dont all of you go raiding my city to
make me look bad either.

Wish the big guys of this forum were not all the way over in Cali,
Id like to meet up with you guys, but it would be rather strange
being dwarfed by Lv and being ten years younger then all of you.

Talk to you all later
