Slow to start, only the first time in the morning
Any ideas what this could be? It is currently around 50-60 F in N. California, and in the morning, when I first start my 1990 LS400, counting the number of turns, it takes about 10 (ten) turns to start the engine. I know I am being a little picky, but I am used to it starting after about three-four turns.
This morning, I performed a little test: I put the key in the ignition, turned it half-way to give enough time to the fuel pump, and then started the car (again it took about 10 turns of the engine to start), and within a second of it starting, I stopped the engine. Waited a few seconds, and then did the same thing again - this time it started within one turn of the engine, as I would expect it. So, the engine was still cold, but it started really fast. Hmm... The starter is spinning at normal speed (sometimes it spins a little slow, but not this morning).
This is a bit unusual for my car because it normally used to start within a few turns, but over the past few months it has been taking a bit longer and longer. It only seems to happen when it has been sitting in cold for more than 5-6 hrs.
I am not worried, but just trying to predict what may need replacing at some point in the future.
BTW, all wires, and spark plugs have been changed 25k miles ago (NGK), as were the distributor and rotor (the only non-OEM thing on my car - dizzy is Bosch). The battery is three years old, but a little smaller than OEM (it is a 2nd gen size battery).
I get no problems when accelerating (it picks up like a rocket). No other problems whatsoever.
Any ideas?

At first I'd check the fuel pump relay which bypass the fuel pump resistor. If it's OK, I'll check the fuel pressure next. At third, I'll check injectors leaking or not.
