New to LS 400 Scene!
Hi my name is Torrey im 22 y/o and a tech at an Acura dealer in so cal, and I'm looking to be purchasing a mid 90's LS 400 soon. If anyone could advise some good places to look that would be awesome. Personally I will be more int o the VIP style once I begin my project. Thanks for your time!

when looking for an ls400 i had to get one of the noninterference motors and with under 150k miles
depends what your needs are as far as modding, maintenance, and overall needs in a car
95+ have MUCH bigger aftermarket as far as finding aftermarket trim pieces grills etc
98+ have the most hp and goodies in the car overall from factory
coils/bags are pretty much equal as far as pricing and availibility
if none of that matters to you then just pick which headlights you like the most and find one well maintained!
last thing you want is getting a fun project to build for mostly looks and be doing catchup on maintenance crap

Welcome to the world of Lexus. Being an Acura tech I'm wondering if you drive a Honda product. If so its worlds apart. I still own a couple Honda products one being the infamous gen 2 Legend. You will find the 98-00 LS will quench most of your desires. This model has many more refinements than the first LS's almost 300 horsepower and a five speed automatic being the most important. You also get HID headlights and decent fuel economy so you wont feel to out of date. I purchased 2 LS400's and my LS430 from Autotrader. If you look around on Autotrader you should find plenty for a friendly price.
Good Luck.
Good Luck.
