Default Egr tube woes

I have the common EGR tube leak on my 96 LS. I have found a short tube which I am guessing is the lower one, on ebay. It shows for SC400 SC 400 Soarer 1997 LS400 LS. Will it fit my application. Also which tube is more prone to leaking? I am not 100% sure which one it is. I sure wish these were more accessible.
Thanks.PPO

the common leaky EGR pipe is the lower pipe, pictured in 25601.

i am unsure if the SC400 part will interchange but the lexus part number should be 2560150060.

bypass it. hose is at least $200 and a ****** to change. Bypass and be done with it forever, or buy a new pipe and put a new one on in 50k.

I replaced mine, and it is a doable job.

i paid a little over $100 for my tube from sewell with a club lexus discount.

you don't bypass it, you just block it off. i wonder the ramifications in doing so. any CEL?

Replaced mine when starter was replaced. It's an easy job at that point.
