Default value of front oem airbags. [suspension]

What are these worth? Im looking to switch them for some adjustables so I can sit it down more, but the bags work fine so the only way I could justify it is if the bags had any value. Are these something that people tend to charge a lot for or they pretty much no good?

They are $1000+ each (for the whole strut) when new... You might be able to get $800 for all for strut assemblies.... That won't even buy you a nice set of new coilovers.

Hmmm, I wouldn't expect to get $800 for your set. Check out Ebay and you will find dozens of auctions (all overpriced and unsold) for these air struts. I sold my old set for $400 but that's only because I found a guy who had a datasystems ride height controller and he wanted spare struts.

they are worth what a person is willing to buy them. and i would guess that would be $200 or so give or take. they will eventually fail sooner or later due to age.

so consensus is to run them until they die then. they work great, just want coils and I cant see spending $200 on a controller when I can put that towards $800 for a set of coils.

Sounds like you're on the right track. If you end up doing the coil swap you could try to sell the struts on CL vice Ebay. Those things are so heavy you would practically have to give them away in order to pay for shipping. Or just throw them in the bin and be done with it.

Yeah just run them until they start giving problems but bookmark all the threads on the swap out procedure so you'll know exactly what to do.
