Hey guys,
I'm sure you've seen the VIN stickers on some of the major body parts, such as the inside of the fenders, doors, trunk, etc. My question is: Did Lexus put any of these stickers in/on the front or rear bumpers as well? If yes, on what part of the bumpers would I be able to locate them?

Yes they did. Should be in the center of the bumper midway. Not facing the ground but facing the cabin

Good question! i'm wondering if there would be any record of radio, amplifier and tape deck etc. serial numbers associated with original car. So that if any of those parts were stolen would you be able to use the vin number to find out the serial numbers of the oem parts?

Mine is a 1991 model year by the way.
I'm gonna take a look right now, but I'm not sure what you mean by facing the cabin! And also, are they on BOTH bumpers, or just front or rear? Thanks If I find it, i'll let you know

Ok, just went in garage and checked it out. I was able to find the one on the front bumper (it's located on the white part of the bmper as you put the hood up. It's not too easy to find, since you really can't see anything, you have to feel it). But I don't know where the rear one is on rear bumper?! I didn't look thoroghly enough, but where exactly is it? probably need a flash light for this one Thank you.

Never mind, I found the one on the rear bumper too! I've got them all.
