Real quick question - 95 Can you turn off the auto-dim mirrors always??

Can you set the auto dim mirrors to stay off? I hate that feature. I turn it off when I'm driving but the next night it turns back on. Can it be set to stay off?

Side dimming mirrors! Thats one of my favorite features! Makes the 95+ so much more modern and luxurious. Being blinded by people behind me was an annoyance in my 93.

omarg, i believe he is talking about the center rear view since it has a "power" on-off button and the side mirrors do not (or do they?!).

it annoys me too, since i have tinted windows. as yoshiman stated, you'll need to unplug it but that requires removal of the mirror. maybe there is a fuse related to it, though there is a possibility you'll knock out other amenities. time to find out!
