Default shifter for 1993 ls400

Hi guys!

I''ve been looking for a napolex shifter for my LS but they seem to be discontinued everywhere. Just looking to see if you guys have some suggestions on either where to buy one or maybe another good / nice looking shifter

I used a Napolex new model Civic shifter since its the same model except where the stick goes its a different size insert to fit the Civic. So I used a dremel and removed some of that plastic insert to fit the oval shaped one of the LS shift stick. It doesn't bolt on like the civic one does because the screw holes are located in a different place. but slides right on top and allows to push down the top button to allow shift change when pressing on the brakes. This is the ONLY solution I found as Ive been looking for LS400 Napolex ones for over 2-3 years even willing to spend the $200-$300 if they were available but never were not even in Japan or used. I took the gamble when I found the Civic model Napolex shifter on eBay since it looked the same as the rare LS model one. With some slight modification with a dremel it fit perfectly. Im the only to have done this and figured out as far as I know. Hope this helped!!!!!

Oh and I bought the Civic model one for about $20 bucks on eBay brand new. Very happy with the mod, although it isn't completely bolted down, it is not loose unless I pull it up but its firm and allows for me to shift properly when pressing in the shift lock button.
