My interior light sometimes doesn’t come on when I open the door. The problem does not occur all of the time. Sometimes only the lights on the doors come on and other times no lights come on. I’m sure it’s a short. Does anyone where I can begin to look for it?

I don't know your exact electrical system, but 1st place I'd check to see if there is a pin switch in the door jam. Does it move free? Are the electrical contacts good?

check recent post about replacing door switch in maintenance section - common problem. You may be able to verify switch is the problem by manually operating it and looking for intermttant operation. On my 93LS it is towards the botton on the pillar between the front and back doors - black rubber cover.
