Default removing rear parcel/sub shelf

How do i go about removing the rear parcel shelf in a 2000 ls? That whole carpeted thing behind the rear seats that covers the factory sub?

You have to remove the rear seats along with the side panels (with the courtesy lights).

You have to pull up very hard on the corners of the bottom seat cushion near the doors and it will pop out. Sometimes it takes a really hard pull if you have never removed them before. Then just remove the 5 bolts along the bottom of the seat back and the 3 hidden bolts behind each headrest. Then pull it up to get it off the hooks. If you look at the diagram it's pretty self explanatory. You have to remove the 3rd brake light cover and speaker cover which both just pop out to get the shelf out.
