Default seat back/map pocket reinstall



How theheck does one reinstall the seat backs on the front seats?!?!?! i cant get it to hook/lock for the life of me.

somehone here has taken off the seat back covers. any help? I need the car this fridya and cant stand driving it around in pieces
I feet there are two small hooks that should go thrut he holes of the top spring like clamps on the actual seatback. no matter what i do nothign clicks or stays in place

thank you for that. However, I dont have any screws which i took out from the seat covers (the backs have been off by the PO during reupholstery). And, i dont see how to get to, or install those screws anyway..?
Also i dont get how the bottom of it mounts, mine looks diffrrent...
obviosuly hard to understadn what im talking about with no pics, Ill try getting some tonight.

you wouldnt happen to have a pdf of resinsalling the seatback board would you?

edit; o, the seat is upside down, adn the screws and hes slidign the board downwards if the seat was still installed.
Ok, so I have to find how those things screw together from the bottom, but it doesnt explain why nothing holds near the top..

There are supposed to be 2 clips on the top of seat back board as well as 2 clips on the side. Then 2 bolts for the bottom. If they are not thee maybe the PO broke them taking it off and that's why he sold it to you as is.....

it has everything, minus the bolts on the bottom. upholstery shop probably lost em. just dont get how the top clips are supposed to stay in there to keep teh seatback tight.

The screws are whats going to keep it tight since they will be applying upward pressure. As you notice in the diagram that you can't unclip it until you take the screws out.
