430/400 seatbelts interchangeable
quickly looking at some pics the seatbelts seem identical.
Does anyone know if 430 seatbelts can be bolted into a 2000 ls400?

"Technically" they would not be interchangeable. Will they work and properly, is an unknown.
Wife had called Japan about getting some of the tan belts for ours. The technician there relayed that "technically" they were not compatible and his comment was that standards for export cars would be different than the JDM market Celsiors. He said they'd bolt up and function but as far as safety standards between the two, he advised no. The tan belts here are unavailable new so that was why the call was made.
On a safety item where your life is at risk, I would buy new units. Black is available and have your upholstery guy or other seat belt shop change the webbing for the color desired.
