So, is that some type of film or...? I have JP fiberglass eyelids on my '98 which look pretty cool but were NOT easy to install. Let's just say like most aftermarket parts they were not quite exact. The 3m tape had to be supplemented with a few little screws and some clear silicone. Yours look flat, but clean. Cheers.

Yes it is a film like window tinting, kind of cool. i also have it on my front pillar.

it's vinyl.

I think small mods like this just look tacky on an otherwise stock car, but that's a question of taste.

They look really good... just kind of out of place on a stock car... I mean, with a drop, and some custom exterior bits, it would seem more at home.

why would anyone in Michigan drop a Lexus, that is crazy too me. Thats like dropping a truck.
"keep it classy San deign!" small mods

I have to disagree - I think they look nice, and add just a touch of class and individuality. Then again, I think dropping or adding custom exterior bits is gilding the lily on anything but a sporting car, and then only when performance, not appearance, is actually improved.

Idiom:
gild the lily
1. To adorn unnecessarily something already beautiful.
2. To make superfluous additions to what is already complete.

if you like it, that's all that matters. if you ask me, small exterior mods like this don't do too well on stock cars (for reasons already stated).

great idiom! btw, i lowered my tacoma ;) .

I think it's a good attempt and not nearly as tacky as a "let's slap on every stick-on item we can find at Pepboys" customization. We've all seen "that guy". :D
