Does it really matter??

Seriously though, I went from a Honda Civic to a '97 LS 400 and mine went up about $150/ year. Just call your agent.

Mink,

If you are currently driving a import car your insurance may go up $10 to $20 per month. Mine went up $13. My wife recently went from a Jeep Grand Cherokee to an LX470 and the insurance only went up $20 per month.

Went from a 2000 Chrysler 300M to a 2003 LS 430 and the insurance went up like $50 year.

Insurance depends on alot of factors, for example how good your driving record is. So just because you get a Lexus doesn't mean your going to pay an arm and a leg.

Yikes!!

I don't even pay 3K for 1 year on 3 cars, a 97 LS400 full coverage, a 99 RX300 full coverage and a 92 Honda Accord with an 18 year old driver.

In MA I was paying $5500 per year for 99GS4, 01 Chrysler T&C Van and daughter's 94 900S. I now live in NH and pay $4500 for 00LS400, 97 Jeep GC, the van and Saab. I have a 21 YO son, 18 YO daughter as well. Son has 95MPH speeding ticket and 1 at fault accident still in play on the points.
