Water in car during heavy rain, 1995 LS400
Hello, during a heavy rain my rear floorboard on the drivers side gets soaked in water. Can't find any water on roof, door, seat, or any where in the front seat/floorboard or trunk. The water is only in the rear driver's side floorboard and only happens during a real heavy rain. Thinking maybe a drainage hose for the trunk or sunroof may be clogged up. All the door and sunroof seals look good.

Water Leak
It most likely came in from your moonroof if you had the car for long time and this is the first incident. One of the water drain channel hose is clogged. I think there are two in front and two in rear.

Michael, do you mean one of the drain tubes for the sunroof, are they easy to get to? I have had the car for about 18 months, it has happened since I have owned it, maybe 5 times a year.

Water Leak
Loran,
If you only had the car for little over a year, this problem existed prior to your purchase. Water leak problem is not easy to find. When water enters inside, it finds the lowest area and that is where water is detected.
Try following this link and see if any would lead to a solution.

Good luck.
