Default Score 1 for the LS400!

I just came back from a recent trip to Panama, in Central America. My uncle (who lives there) was showing us around his workplace, when I see his '97 LS400 in his warehouse.. HOLY *****! I knew he got into an accident a while back, but DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN I didn't realize it was that bad. He was driving home on a 2 lane road one night after work. It was raining. A truck going the other way lost control and slammed into the Passengers side rear of the car. It caused him to do several 360's and he then hit a BUS, which slowed him down. He eventually spun until he went off the road and was stopped by gravity. He only sustained a minory leg injury, and he did have his seatbelt on. Every airbag went off in the car:

The driver's side held up very well!

The person in the light blue shirt is my uncle. He has a 1995 LS400 that he uses for work, and a 2002 LS430 for his wife. He swears by Lexus, and will continue to buy Lexus.

Ed

Hey Ed! Greetings from the west coast. Oh...my..God...I can't believe that story...amazing. He should be in one of those commercials for Lexus safety. I'm glad he's okay and didn't get hurt very seriously.

My initial feelings were (give her the boot)... She even drove it home wrecked like that. She said it kept pulling to one side.. (duh!)

We broke up for a while but decided to stick thru it. I'm looking at a 2000 LS400... and no she will not drive it.

They are tough cars when it comes to accidents.

Anybody else have any other pictures that attest to the solid body?
