the 1990 one dont, only grommet i see is by passenger firewall, but dont seem to find away through it
i even took out passenger glove box and the underpass, nada ;/ looks like i may just drill a hole, dunno how tho ;/ |
it's there, but you have to go through the fender liner. remove the front wheel, remove the fender liner on the driver's side and you'll see the grommet that passes through the firewall.
my thread, though for an air ride setup on a 97, shows how to route the wires with pictures. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...tup-ucf20.html |
A 1990 should have a grommet under the drivers seat. That's where I ran my wire in my 92.

Hope this give you an idea on how/where to run the wire through

I didn't run it this way the first time around either until I redid my audio. I will be redoing it again as I need a longer power cord

Yeah, you're run-of-the-mill amp kit won't work on this car haha. For me, I managed with the 17ish feet of wire power wire and 3 feet of ground, but I had to get new RCAs (a 25 foot set of Scosche EFX - WONDERFUL for this car - though I'd say you're good with 20ish feet unless you're really meticulous about running an obstacle course with the wire). When I did my install, I went through that driver's side wiring harness grommet you see toward the top left of the photo. It took me at least 20 minutes to cut a sizable hole for the wire (4 gauge) to pass through.

I'm debating if I should get one longer power cord or just add another amp and then the extended wire on the other side extending it
Essentially, you would be running the (colored) 0/1 AWG from the battery to the block and (black) from the block to the ground point. Then, run the 4 AWG (colored) from the block to both amps' power leads and run the 4 AWG (black) from the amps' ground leads to the block. Here's a diagram to further illustrate: https://i.ebayimg.com/t/KnuKonceptz-...bD!~~60_57.JPG |
Hmm interesting
