Dear All,

I am running a 96 LS400 very good.. I have bought it without the key-less entry, so i decided to put a key-less entry to avoid putting the key every-time... I went to a shop and did it.. Then i noticed that there is no security light on the dashboard, then i saw figured out that the mechanic put some king of China Made instrument, and disabled my car's security system... I wanted to know how to enable it again, and also wanted to uninstall that chip...

there is a small black button low down to the left of the streering wheel i think you will find this hides security light on dash

thanks it worked, the light came on the security dash, but the alarm isn't working still...

Lets just say, if i unlock my car, pull the driver window down, lock again the car, with the secuirty light appeared on my dash, if i unlock it from the inside, it should sound hard, but its not sounding on the security break...

China aftermarket crap is a bad plan on LS400 - especially anything electrical!

shanjam, u removed the aftermarket device, looks almost like this device, installed underneath the steering,
I am no more having any aftermarket device on my LS, but the alarm is still not activating...

Still if i unlock the door by the inside after locking it completely, the alarm wont trigger...
