Hello everyone, as suggested by this site, I would like to introduce myself and welcome all the existing members. i have just joined this club.
I own two Celsiors, both are 1990 models. I've owned them for the last 6 years and probably will never part with them - great cars. Both cars have done over 200,000 k's and both were originally fitted with air bag suspensions. I have converted one of them to the coil/over shocks, as the system deteriorated and it was too costly to renew it. I have some small problems with this particular car - the traction control and ABS are not working and the cruise control is switching off after only a few seconds of operation. I am pretty sure it's something to do with the sensors (fault codes seem to confirm it) and will have to spend some more time trying to determine which sensor is causing the problems. Anyway, this is a great forum and I am pretty sure I will find a lot of useful information here and hopefully will be able to contribute to it as well.
Cheers,
Chris

Welcome to the club and thanks for sharing. Many feel the same way you do... why part with a good thing?
Hope you can get your problems sorted out in short order. Pics would be good.

welcome and don't forget to use the stickies at the top of the forum for all your basic FAQ.
the 1st gen models are very prone to capacitor failure. check this thread for more information which could most likely be your problem.

Victoria, but different
This will probably disappoint you - I am from Victoria, but in Australia. My Celsiors are right-hand drive vehicles. I live in Melbourne. When I read the threads I have to account for the different location of the steering wheel. If it says the particular component is on the driver's side, most likely it will be on the passenger side in case of my cars.
Thanks to timmy0tool for the hint on the capacitor failure - will follow this one for sure!
