Default New Wheel Alert!

Whats up guys. Just ordered these new wheels because I bent the ones I got now, (so convenient with the orlando meet this weekend ) I went through alot of pics of ls400s on the forums and Im going for something different. I went with these Volocity 12s... 20x8.5. In choosing the wheel, I wanted something with a lot of face. And; at the same time, a wheel that would allow me to show off my calipers whenever I get those done. Personally. .. I just like how a more solid face looks on these cars. Here is a pic and I will post another after install.

full spokes look good on certain wheels designs. i'm currently running full spoked wheels. having open space makes cleaning the caliper and inner wheel easier (i hope i am not the only one that cleans back there). i do think 20s are a bit too big, and having full spokes exaggerates the enormity of it all, but that's just me. what tire size do you plan on running?

Whoa, hold up. When's the meet? I might actually have a chance at going haha (when you live near Sarasota, you don't see Orlando too much)

Yes, I will have them on before this weekend.

Im running the same tires I have now... 255/35. Also have H&Rs 1" all around. I like this "FLUSH" look. In the future when I save up for coilovers, I can sit it a little lower and give the car more..." uninterrupted" flow. I have always had wheels with a lip, but in my opinion, after looking at bunch of hooked up ls400s, the car is cleaner with more face on the wheel. Not that I dont like what some have done with the deeper dish wheel, Im just leaning more this way.

A little case and point, both these cars are tight...but I like a more flushed look to favor the car.

Yeah, I looked an hour ago. I'm so out of the loop on these things... but how a meet like that, with the original post being in January completely avoid my view, I don't even know. And, well, I wish I could go. Seems that most of the action going on during the meet is on Saturday/Sunday whereas my parents'll be up there Friday. I'd come if I had a job (read: gas money)

haha. No I'm going to take it pretty easy on the car considering I dont really have a second gear at the moment. Really it will depend on who ends up going with us. Last time we played around alot on the drive there and back. lol

Looks good, could put a 15mm spacer on the back to even it up with the front fitment.

Dayum, those are clean! And +1 on the spacer, since you're shooting for flush, and when you eventually go moar low, it'll help you get closer to that fender/lip fitment you crave!
