How To Set The Steering Wheel Tilt To Fixed Position?
The title speaks for itself. It is a cute feature to have, that when I take the key out of the ignition the steering wheel lifts up so it is not in the way. However, when I put the key back in the steering wheel does not always return to where it should be, and I find myself constantly adjusting it every time I put the key in. How can I set the steering position once and keep it there indefinitely?

You need to go to a Lexus dealership and have them plug in the handheld computer to disable the auto tilt feature. You can also get in the steering column and cut the wire for the auto tilt. You can also wire a switch to thw wire so you can turn it on or off.

90-94 cars do have a switch on the side of the column to turn it off. newer cars you simply need to plug the harness. i am not sure if pulling the fuse may be easier (fuse could also power other accessories). i have not seen any options from the factory to "disable" the feature.
