About three weeks ago I had posted about your opinions regarding the 95-97 LS400 vs. the 97-99 Q45. Well today I just picked up my LS400, it's dark green, but it's so dark that the car might as well be black. It has a grey interior, and wow this car is smooth and quiet.

The gas pedal is stiff like a BMW, I constantly find myself going slower then traffic because I'm not paying attention, but if I floor it, it has some get up. I'm a little disappointed I didn't get traction control, but I didn't feel it was necessary in this car because it isn't that fast, but in the rain I can't keep it from spinning even at the slowest speeds.

Mechanically it seems sound, the transmission shifts crisply but if I quickly lift off the gas pedal sometimes I hear/feel the slightest little hiccup, but I'm not too concerned I got a $0 deductable 36,000/3yr extended warranty on it which covers everything.

I'm sure I'll be around, thanks for the help before, and thank you for all the help I will get in the future.

Congrats on the new LS! Looking forward to some pics. My 91 LS is the very dark green color as well, but mine has the tan interior. Green is a great color on these big cars.
