It's just the chrome tip. However, I have to cut the curve part of exhaust pipe and the bumpers to make it look better. You may notice that there is a trunk lid that I actually order from bmwcircle.com for only $31 plus $7 for shipping.

what year is your LS ? It looks like you have the Nav, but I did not notice any antenna on the car ? How do you receive your GPS input ??? I ask because my '99 has an antenna and I have yet to see any '98 - '00 w/Nav using same antenna as mine, so I am wondering what gives ???

Nice car collection !!!

It's 99. I don't see any antenna either, but the navigation system works great. I heard that the antenna is build-in which I don't know much about

Default Thanks, khang

That is real surprising that your '99 w/Nav does NOT have an external antenna while mine does !!! I've often wondered why I never see an antenna on the '98 - '00 models w/Nav. I saw a '98 a t my local dealership with Nav and no antenna.... Hmmmm...

Does anyone here know why this is the case on the same year car with same features and different setup ? BTW, my car was first purchased 11/28/98, as a '99 release.

OAC are you sure you're not thinking of the car phone antenna?

You are probably right, it must be a car antenna I have. I cannot find any accessory in my car that I can positively link to an in-car phone setup tho'... If it is a factory install, should there not be the phone accessory ? If AM, then maybe the previous owner had it removed prior to sale.....

I'll do more checks on the car just to see what I turn up

LexieLS,
The LS is faster and more reliable. The 7 is smoother and has more room so that my daughter's shoes can't reach the front seat . In general, I like the LS better.

I was wondering if you bought the BMW chrome trunk lid for the 7 series and put that on the LS. Please elt me know. I was wondering if I should do the same thing. The trunk lid for the LS is hard to come by.

Thanks
