I'm not sure why the price is so high, i mean the exterior and interior are basically flawless. I just thought it was a well taken care of car..

The vehicle can look amazing and seem like it is taken care of.

Now here is the thing the vehicle has very high miles 300k

what that means is unless it has been rebuilt which would be stated.

there could eventually be serious repairs to arise due to the high miles.

For the amount of money that the seller is asking for i would personally move on and find another one for the same price that was clean and had lower miles on it.

They can be found you just need to look for them

I like the sound of shutting my doors. Reassures me I have a solid built car.

Unless you personally know the owner or theres a stack of invoices to show maintenance has been done I'd pass. Sludge is what kills engines. If the oil changes have been done on time it should have plenty of life to go.

Higher miles = more wear and tear. The car might be clean but for the price, you would be getting the short end of that deal. There are tons of LS's in that price range that will have way less miles on them. I have a first gen 93 LS and picked it up for $1800 with 114k on it. I don't see any reason to buy a high mileage car if you don't have to.

Oh, and to Twista4004.... Who says the LS doesn't get sideways? For some reason, mine does it all the time. I'm still trying to figure out whats causing it. lol

I'm sure i could get the car for lower, i know the guy who owned it before this guy owns it lol. I honestly don't see how someone could say that 300k miles is a lot on a 1uz engine. It's one of the most well built motors of all time imo. I am going to see if i can get it down to around 2 i guess.

There's more than just mileage to consider. The trany fluid could be origional, so could the rear fluid, the wiper and window motors have been used over 300k miles, so has the blower motor. if nothing else you are likely closer to the end of the cars life than someone with 200k and you both payed the same. Yes they are known to go ~500k under the right circumstances but that doesn't mean yours will.
