not to thread jack, but how does the front of your car feel? mine is really bouncy, not a "stiff" kind of bounce.

will the UCA resting on the shock towers make the car ride like this(****)?

It feels soft...I see a lot of ppl change to a higher spring rate in the front. I'm curious if its because if this feeling?

Not to bash or anything or try to sell anything on here, But i hate to see this happen to A LOT of people that are new to this "scene". IF you dont really do some hw on your coils or suspension you wont really know what to get. I know this is true cuz i did this also my self. NOT Cool. But yeah understand what your getting into like Spring rates and how short the shock body is. BUT! dont always go for ALL LOW cuz you may ask for too much food for your plate.. and cant eat it all if you catch my drift..

did you guys expect a 2 ton car to ride like stock when you drop it to the floor on coils with medium-high spring rates?

Not at all lol But it doesn't feel like I have a medium/high spring rate in the front...I would like it to feel that way Not bouncy but firm.

YES! the UCA resting on the shock towers pretty much removes all front suspension play! the tires are the only things absorbing shock if you do this! RAISE IT!

You should consider that you're running stock wheels also with comfortable mushy tires. Last summer I was rocking 18"s with a smaller firmer sidewall and the ride was a lot more firm. I just took her out from winter storage and I have my stockies on and what a difference in ride quality! It bounces so much more and does not feel firm and planted like last summer. I'm rocking Megan LP's but the ride feeling should be quite similar. Your's should feel a bit stiffer though since you have BC's

Yes. If you want to ride that low, cut clearance for the UCA as Vincent123's had done. May be in his build thread, I can't recall which thread it is in. Was a very nice cut and boxed weld job.

Interesting. I am also going to keep a 16" rim/tire (225/50's) after my megan install. Will I have UCA or other "clearance" issues?

Depends how low the car is setup at. On that tire your drop will be ~3/4" lower over the stock diameter. If it is tucking a bit, it will be close. You'll find out very quickly if it hits.

Very true - which is why the OEM tires (225/60's) will be on standby to go back on just in case.

I put custom low bc coils with 18/16 springs and after messing around with the dampening I really enjoy them! I have them raised up all the way and am about .5-1" away from my fender tucking my wheel lip. they are firm and don't bounce all over the place. only part that sucked for me was my struts were seized and didn't want to come out without getting the swaybar out of the picture

with 16s the only reason your car would be bouncy is because the bigger tires on stock wheels. good luck
