they are MUCH softer, and I would even say as soft as stock.

it all depends on the wheel size, offset of the wheels, and amount if drop (if lowered). if your car is stock running stock wheels at stock height i would just run the OEM recommended tire sizing. you can go 20mm wider but may need to compensate with a smaller sidewall.

check for proper sizing:

These shots are from the day of installation. I have since gone just shy of half an inch lower and I love the compromise between how it looks, yet it still rides quite nice. I rolled the fender lips just a little bit to be safe, but probably could have gone without doing so. No doubt the 19's look killer, and these wheels are offered in 19's.. But i've got a 240sx that these wheels work perfectly on as well; its nice to have wheels that will work on more than just one of your cars. With the versatility of 18's and the cheaper cost of tires, I don't think Ill be going to 19's.
photos are huge.. sorry / you're welcome

I hope this reply isn't too old to get a response. I'm curious to know your setup as I just ordered wheels and tires for my 93 and I'm hoping it mimics your look. After I lower it of course

‘95 on 18” AME Shallen AX and Megan coilovers. Not the specs I wanted for my wheels width wise, but will do for now.
