93 LS400 Won't Start
 

Just all of a sudden I went to start the car, and I turn the switch and the instrument panel comes on, headlights etc, but it doesn't make any noise, acts totally dead, but the lights and all work. Under the hood the only noise I really get is a dot matrix printer type noise from under the trac box, pics included of where I'm hearing it from. I have a 165k miles if that helps

also now it starts up after doing nothing to it

check battery voltage, check battery connections

1+ for a Battery issue

have you checked the terminals for corrosion and their general condition lately?

I know i had this problem with my bros car. Thought it was the battery and it wasn't. The cars security system prevented the car from starting. We would have to use the key and open the passenger door and start it up... weird I know but wouldn't hurt to try.
