Cool Help on a Rim Decision

I found a set of 18" Forte Nokturnal Rims. I'm kind of on the fence but the price is pretty good.

Just curious if anyone on here has a set and what do you think of them on a 93 LS400.

I like the idea of sticking with lexus rims

and iirc both of those will fit over brakes on a 93 but dont quote me on that

the OEM lexus wheels should fit just fine and is much more preferred. the first wheels i would def pass, but if that's your cup of tea, go for it!

I like the factory interchange. Keeps it conservative simple but at the same time updated.

buy whatever u think looks good and dont worry about what anyone here thinks...if u like the look then buy the wheels..ive seen some wheels on here that guys here think are great and i dont care for..im not a fan of what i call "the wagon wheel look" like in post 6...but if u like the wheel then put it on ur car..u look at it every day,not us
btw the first rim is hideous lol

Greetings! Great forum you guys have here!

I just picked up my first Lexus - a '97 LS400. It needs tires, so I thought I'd look for an inexpensive wheel upgrade too. The existing chromed factory 16 inchers have kissed a few curbs, so first stop is a suspension inspection (suspected loose tie rod ends), a possible steering rack (minor leakage), and a four wheel alignment.

I found a set of 18" 2011 LS460 take-offs on Craigslist. Best I can tell, they've got a 32 offset. Anyone know if those will be a good fit on the older car? How about a tire size that gets close to the current 225/60-16 overall diameter?

I've also seen ads for 17" IS 250 & 300 wheels. If the 18 inchers are trashed or won't fit, those would be plan B. Thoughts on those?

Thanks!
