hmm.. theres no selection for 25-29 maybe I should have looked at my chart before I submitted the poll...

Mods change please 30-39 to 26 - 39
and the setting for whom voted for what should be unchecked since the results page would end up showing everyone that voted..

23 years young.

Its my DD! And i love it.

Why i got mine was to turn right at the fork, i was kinda over the speed and motor fast car etc side. Ive always wanted a LS400 since day one. I love big body cars that are really low! Plus auto and just to dip around in.

I clicked on 1st generation 25 and under... Oh well

98' LS400

Daily driver.

Many reasons why I bought this LS. One of the cool reasons is that it can beat a 90s model V12 S600 Mercedes to 60mph while getting more than twice the fuel economy in general.

'92 LS400

Summer/weekend/drift car

Picked the LS400 because it comes with a factory bulletproof V8 and I didn't want a cookie cutter SR swapped 240 like every other single person that drifts. Currently sourcing the final parts for my 5spd swap.

Got bit by the Lexus bug once I bought my SC. Decided to start building my SC, so I bought a 2GS. Finished the 2GS, and it was totalled the day after I finished it. Was looking for another project, so I picked up my LS, bulletproof, gets low, looks fantastic. Not a single complaint from me.

I am in my 50's and have a 98 LS400. I bought it as a CPO in 2001 with 28,000 miles and it currently has 191,000 miles on it. I've been meticulous about the maintenance so it runs and looks like new.

I picked out the LS because I have a family and wanted a nice four door, but with v8 and rwd. Not to mention I'm a huge toyota/lexus fan.

Bought this for a daily driver. Was putting too many miles on my new F150 Pickup
My son had a 93 sc400 that I bought for him that I fell in love with. Had to have a Lexus!

Why? Of all the luxury brands on the market Lexus has appealed to me for a few reasons. The dealer service is excellent. They are not just "sport" luxury but actual comfort. Their reliability is top notch. Their resale value is one of the highest of any makes. The LS has a very nice V8 that delivers more power than my previous cars but is more fuel efficient. The LS is also longer than my previous cars but has an amazing turning radius which helps when you drive in tight areas of the city.

Oh also my father told me if I bought German he would NOT help me with any maintenance/repairs (I come from an automotive family).

I wanted a big fat rear wheel drive sedan with a v8 and good suspension. I of all the cars I researched, I kept coming back to the ls400, q45, and cts-v. I didn't want to take out a loan so no cadillac. I wanted manual transmission, and decided I'd rather do the swap on a ls400 than the q45. Plus I think the ls400 looks so much nicer.
