retractable cupholder removal

I'm trying to remove the retactable drink holder to connect the console lighter, can anyone tell me how this how this is done? I've remove the 2 screws in the back of the cup holder but it still won't release and remove.

God I would do anything to have the 2001+ Cup holders as they are current to American sized cups and cell phones
