So the other day I replaced my mast cause it was bent and the cable had snapped. After install everything work perfect, probably has gone up and down 10 times and today when I turned it off the antenna went all that way down but the motor kept running and broke the new cable. The only thing I can think is the small module that runs it is bad but was looking for a second opinion.

I had the same issue. So far I couldn't figure it out, but I don't use my radio so I haven't really been looking

Unplug the motors. it will work with about 90% reception with the antenna down.

Is it the same motor as before?
Plastic or metal cable? I have seen issues with the track on some systems were a bend or a kink or even a sharp edge will cut into the cable and in time snap it.

When the cable snapped was it going up or down. Where the snap is should be the distance from the motor where the issue could be... Have a look and see.
