Default Where can I find this bushing?

Hi,

I've just bought a set of use Tein Comfort Sport absorbers, but the bushings in the picture doesn't look good.

Can I ask what these bushings are called and where I can find reasonable rubber replacements?

The seller pointed me to a shop that does Polyurethane replacements but a lot of friends are advicing against going PU.

Sincere thanks.

I've never seen that one for sale as a rubber piece. I'm pretty sure you can't get that from the dealer. Maybe rockauto.com I think they sell some rubber bushings that the dealer doesn't.

only place you'll find that bushing is through Tein, it's not a standard OEM part.

If the bushings have seen that kind of wear what are the chances that the shock absorbers themselves are any good?

Thanks. Will try to source from Tein, otherwise I guess I'll just get custom-made PU ones.

Well I guess rubber bushings commonly perish with a bit of age, and its very common to see this on the rubber bushings on the LS400s as well. Seems to be a very common topic in this forum anyway.

I had a quick check of the shocks and they haven't been washed or painted, with no oil leaks seen.

Two good things about them are they were relatively cheap (=US$400), easily and cheaply serviceable locally and these apparently have been very highly rated.
