hey I recently got a 97 LS and the left tail light is cracked and it won't pass inspection.. anybody know where I can get tail lights for cheap? and maybe even get some 98 tail lights?

 

nevermind.. found them on procarparts.com

 

has anyone bought those? .. are they good?

 

there was a tread stating that the 1st gen tails werent good from procarparts.com, i dont know abou the 98's

The 98 lights are 40mm wider than the 97, according to the list of changes on the Lexus Certified Pre-Owned website.

So, you may have to do a little body work if you want to fit 98 tails.

 

I recently purchased a 97 LS400 and one rear lense appeared clearer than the rest I asked at the dealer some one put a 98 lense in and fit perfectly in the fender I replaced it with a 97 lense so all matches fine now. PS I still have a right rear 98 lense laying around. Personal Msg. me for info.

 

I don't want 98 tails I want clear 1st gen tails.. do the ones for 90-94 fit 95-97? I'm going to buy one of these
