Default Heading to the shipping yard in a few days

My LS400 will be experiencing its first winter this year. I am moving back to Atlanta, GA from Puerto Rico and, well, it is actually kind of nice to think that the heater will be used for the first time, ever.... I know, kind of silly but when the temperature is always at least in the 80's the heater never gets used. I am wondering how she will act. Not that GA is like the Northeast but it does get down in the 20's or teens during the coldest months.

Monday she gets dropped off at the shipping yard in San Juan to make a 3 day journey to Jacksonville, FL and then a few days later she will arrive in Atlanta. Going to have to take off my windshield window tint as well. Can't get away with that in GA.

Think there is anything I can do to help her deal with the upcoming winter? The red coolant looks good. Wonder if it is worth taking a look at the ETC just to be sure it is in specs. How hard is it to just pop a new one in?

there's a thread on ETCs you should be able to find easily.

I think there's a couple good winterizing threads too, I'm not overly familiar with the concept

youll be fine, lol. im just north of ATL. it may snow here enough to cause problems once every 4-5 years, and a blizzard (3ft.+) about every 20 years or so.

ice is the biggest issue, and at that point, stock up before the storm, and dont leave, simple as that. even a 4wd has a hard time on ice, especially in ATL's elevation changing roads.

btw, when you get to ATL, hit me up. the VIP scene here is pretty good thus far.
