i'm just wondering why would these 2 eagle eyes for the 93 ucf10 has completely different price tags.

has it for sale at $302 shipped. theyre "Anzo" headlights. says nothing about quality in the description

has it for sale at $154 shipped. says quality is "High Quality Headlights made by OEM approved manufacturers with materials that meet strict OEM requirements."

they're more listings at the $200+ range but seems the same products. which ones were yall prefer? I would assume the $154 shipped one is the same as the $302 shipped one. there was a guy trying to sell a pair for $250 and he said he bought the $300 one because of "quality". and wouldnt go lower than his price to sell them to me even though i showed him the ebay $154 shipped one.

i'm planning on buying eagle eyes and doing a retrofit if my finance comes together this winter. any input would be appreciated.

Wow I was JUST looking at a set of eagle eyes on ebay to do a projector/hid retrofit on my 95 ls400.

Most likely they are all the same. I would go for the cheapest ones.
For my 95, there are some with glass lenses and some with plastic, and prices are basically the same.
If you can find some competitively priced glass ones, I would go for those so that they never get hazy.

Buy the ones that that have the lowest delivered price. It's not unusual for one eBay seller to advertise the same item at vastly different prices. That way they sell to smart shoppers, the ones who don't bother to look around, and to people who think that a higher price always means better quality.

hmm... okay i'll probably settle for the cheaper one. that $150 i save can go towards a retrofit!. neither advertisement don't say anything about being glass or plastic. thanks for the input guys!.

Eagle Eyes headlight lenses are clear plastic with the beam controlled by the reflector as on the 98-00 LS400 instead of by fluted lenses as on the 90-94 LS400. The light output from the Eagle Eyes headlights using the standard H4/HB2/9003 bulbs will probably seem wonderful compared to your OEM headlights.

I bought mine for the lower price over a year ago. Good to see another ict owner here. The 3 of us need to compare cars someday. OCR is the third but haven't seen him on here for awhile.

I disagree.

There are eagle eye headlights made of glass. The light output on some aftermarket eagle eye headlights are poor compared to its OEM, and this maybe due to its beam pattern or poor craftsmanship and quality.

Not that my opinion matters but those ebay headlights looks hideous.

i like them, but hate the side markers. if it were me, which i may entertain a set in the future, ill be removing the lens, masking off, and painting the outer trim of the chrome black, as well as the dividers between the headlight and fog......just my $0.02

only time eagle eyes are an upgrade in my opinion is when you use them to retrofit in proper HID projectors...

If you have an older BMW you can buy an upgrade headlights without retrofitting the projectors. They are the Euro Headlights. I had an E39 528i with the M5 look but the headlights out from the factory were Halogens so I replaced them with the Xenon Euro headlight with Angel Eyes or Halo because everything about it is so much better. I have an E36 M3 with the halogens and soon to have xenons, I also have another E36 325i, race inspired, and this one has the Euro Hella Xenons as an upgrade.

So ya, eagle eyes or angel eyes can only be an upgrade if it functions better than your OEM.

how do sheilded HID's look in the OEM LS400 headlights? does it distort the pattern to a point to where it just makes the headlight lense blinding itself to oncoming drivers? or does it shine through decently?

pre 98 cars with fluted lenses will create glare that will blind other drivers

It is not necessary to have eagle eyes to run HID just as long as they have projected beams. Otherwise, as stated above, fluted lenses --like on our cars-- will glare and blind oncoming vehicles.

I'm very satisfied with the OEM light output and beam pattern even with Halogen bulbs.
