authorized sources are important as there are a lot of counterfeit capacitors out there!

I went with the panasonic low esr, high temp... they do fine?

Panasonic MFG # ECE-A1EKS330 is the KS series, these are NOT particularly low ESR or high temp. -- they are 85C temp, you want 105C - stay with Panasonic FC, FK, FM, or FR series

Finally the JDM ecm is on his way to my work. When i have it over here, i will try it first on my car if it's ok.

Then i will order new cap's at a company here in Holland what i got from Cowboy. I will not solder them myself, but with a guy from the dutch volvo forum where ive been active a lot in the past.

I hope my idle issues will be gone then, and hope the car gets more economic.

A big 10 for this topic and forum, especially to the experts on here !

Manufacturer authorized USA online Internet sources for various recommended capacitors: (so you can avoid getting fake counterfeit capacitors)

Got mine from Digikey. Easy to find low ESR with their search tool, shipped by first class mail. Ridiculously cheap. Total win.

Rubycon 16ZLH220MTA6.3X11
Rubycon 16ZLH100MEFC5X11
Panasonic EEU-EB1H100S

The Panasonic are not specifically low ESR, but there are no 10 μf low ESR caps I could find in any brand at Digikey. Panasonic's site does not have 10 μf in their FR series which are advertised as ultra low ESR, The FC, FK, and FM either don't have the 50v I need, or the 10 μf, or the service life is only 1000 hours. So I went with the EB...

The Supra ECM only has four caps in it. A pair of 10s, a 100, and a 220 μf.

please use the caps linked to in the first post of this thread

I have listed a fantastic low-ESR 10uF cap there, the amazing Chemi-con KZE series

Yes, that is 1000 hours @ +220.9 Fahrenheight with NO VOLTAGE APPLIED. They are in an oven
for 1000 hours to see if they can handle that much heat for that long. They will last tens of thousands of hours, so do not trip on the 1000 hour thing. It is a testing standard, they do not fail at that point, they end the test at 1000 hours.
