Default Kenji815 New Lexus Owner 95 LS400 Black on Black

Hi everyone,
I been posting here on CL for about 2 months now. I just wanna formally introduce myself to the Lexus community.

I picked up a 95 LS400 Two tone Black / gunmetal - black interior from a very nice couple in Socal about a month ago for $4000
The car has 185k. The condition of the car was amazing.

Since i purchase the car i did a couple things already.
- Replace all interior bulb to Super white SMD / LED
- Replaced all three rear differential rubber mount / bushing
- replaced transmission mount.
- replaced front passenger and driver seat belt.
- installed 5000k HID on low beam.
- cleaned the throttle body from all the carbon build up.

Work still needs to be done.
- fully detail the car.
- Replace wheel with SC430 pie dish rim.
- Replace suspension with UAS air suspension system.
- Replace Engine mount
- stainless steel brake lines.
- check all the suspension bushing.

On to the picture.

Some car i've own previously and still own.
1995 Mazda Miata Black hardtop. (SOLD)

2005 Subaru Impreza WRX (STILL OWN)

i want a more OEM look fo the lexus.
The look i want to achieve with the lexus is what lexus would / should release like a fsport package look

i've already the flashy flush thing already. Been there done that.

Nice.

Post a beam pic up of the HID's in this thread:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...m-pattern.html

The "pie plate" SC430 wheels do not clear the BBK without spacers. You sure you don't want to do the OEM's off an LS430?

try looking for the 18" 5-spokes off the current generation GS, they clear the stock brakes.

for now i'll run the pie dish wheel with 20mm spacer. that should get the wheel be more flush and solve fitment problem with BBK.

You didn't like the GS wheels on the LS?

I've been looking at your FS:

Mini DIY how to fix curb rash and repaint your stock wheels.

I picked up a set of SC430 pie dish wheel from CL member.
they wheels were pretty nasty. There is curb rash on every single wheel and they have brake dust caked on...
so i have to take some time cleaning them, sand and patch the curb rash and get them repainted.

step 1 analyze condition

nasty curb rash

Step 2 : Cleaning

Look at all the caked on brake dust NASTY!!!

All cleaned

Step 3: primed
.

Step 4: painted
i want to put on at least 3 coat of metallic silver and i will do 2 coats of clear coat.
this is after 1 coat of metallic silver.

3 sprays of base color + 5 layers of clear coat.
