Consensus seems to be failed amplifier. LS400 w/Pioneer. $95.00 to confirm at lexus plus 200+ for rebuilt and probably another $45 to install. They want my old amp of course which probably takes a .10 cent tube or capacitor to repair . Any feedback ? Please!

Just go aftermarket, its not worth fixing, you get better quality going that route. I'm having the same problem, I will soon replace my amp with a 5 channel aftermarket, not sure what brand though ...
