Default another wheel fitment question

i just picked up a 1995 ls400 and want to throw some wheel on it asap.
i found set of SSR 18x8+37 18x9+37
would it fit without fender modification?
probably throw on 225/45 or 245/40 tires on it.

will need fender roll in the front depending on height. stock height should be fine.

but you need to see if the wheels will clear the brakes, otherwise you'll need a relatively thick spacer too make it all fit.

those are very conservative specs and yes PD is right you will need to make sure the spoke design will enable brake clearance. fitment depends also on tire brand, ride height, and suspension. stock trim, your setup will fit just fine (pending the caliper clearance).

you're going to need some beefy spacers to get anywhere near flush with those wheels.

If you want that ride height and flushness, you'll want to read this:
