Our 98 LS400
Here are pictures of my Mom's 1998 LS400. We've had it since 2003 and it's been a great car ever since. I'm pretty much the one that takes care of all the detailing and some routine maintenance. My dad does most of the maintenance but he couldn't care less how the car looks. I've been trolling this site for years, it's only until now I decided to join and start posting to contribute to the community that I've learned from over the years.
I'm surprised there isn't a gallery section on this site?
I took these a couple of weeks ago after it got the rear bumper repainted and the pin stripe redone. Two weeks prior I gave it a 2 bucket hand wash, spot scratch/swirl removal, clay bar treatment, application of cleaner wax, application of aerospace 303 on all exterior plastic/rubber, dressed jams and wheel wells. Before the pictures I just wiped it down with quick detailer and a microfiber towel. Over a month ago I deep cleaned the carpet, and in august, I leatheriqued the seats and cleaned up the rest of the interior. It's now ready to get dirty over the long Michigan winter. :P
It rolled over to 99k on the way, sorry for the blurry picture:
An engine bay picture. Again sorry for the blurry picture. Interestingly, it hasn't been detailed since last year and it's still clean.
And now the Photoshopped pictures:
IMO, I like the latter (HDR)
Thanks for looking

Pole Position
The photo thread is the first, or second, thread at the top. Although, it was just made into a "sticky" recently, maybe a couple months ago. Car looks good, nice and clean. I'm the same way as your dad, as long as it's running good, who cares what it looks like. But, as least he has you to clean it. Good job.

Are you in the pointes as well? My first choice for pictures was the War memorial, but there was a wedding there. :P
Thanks

What did you use to clean the wheels up? My 2000 has the same chrome wheels however they're not as reflective as yours and now I'm very envious as to how they could be looking. Also, mines a CA car and has the same package...wood steering wheel and **** but no heated seats.
Anyways, I'm curious as to what you used
