Ok took a test drive (1990 LS400 200K on the OD) for about 26 miles car runs fine good power very smooth, shifts fine front end is a little noisy can hear some bearing noise too.
Here is the big problem the AC does not blow cold and there is hot air coming from the floor around my feet and the passengers feet. the display for the climate control does not work but no setting will provide cold air.
Lets just say I can get this car very far south of 2K is the AC issue and the hot air coming out of the floor vents a deal breaker?
is this a known issue and if so whats the average cost to get these issues up the speed.

I would pass. Unless thats all the money you can spend right now. The fixes alone will total more than the price of the car. Keep looking. I know its tough.

I think this is good advice.... a borderline deal at best. The climate control is a very common problem that you can read a lot about in this forum. I think theres a better deal out there.

A 90 ls can almost always be found south of 2k.
And that one sounds like it has alot of problems, obvious ones and hidden ones you have yet to find
